Resize a Video for TikTok, Reels and Shorts (9:16)
Turn a landscape video into a 1080 × 1920 vertical video: the whole picture on a blurred background, or cropped to full screen.
The editor is designed for a computer or a tablet: open this page on a larger screen to edit your video.

How does it work?
The 9:16 format (1080 × 1920 in 1080p) is applied straight away. Drop your video: if it is landscape, it is shown in full in the center, on a blurred background taken from the video itself, as on TikTok.
Prefer full screen? Choose “Fill” on the right: the video covers the whole frame and its sides are cropped. You can also add a title or music, or trim the video before exporting.
The resulting MP4 file suits TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
Examples
A 16:9 video with a blurred background
A 1920 × 1080 video is scaled down to 1080 × 608 in the center of the 1080 × 1920 frame; above and below, about 656 pixels of blurred background on each side.
Cropping to full screen
In “Fill” mode, the same video is enlarged to 3,413 × 1,920: only the central 1,080 pixels of width remain visible, or 32% of the original picture. Ideal when the subject is in the center.
