How does it work?

Drop your video and your music (MP3, WAV or M4A): the music is placed on the audio track, under the video. Drag it to make it start later, and drag its edges to shorten it.

Select the music to set its volume (up to 200%) and its fade in and fade out. Select the video to lower or mute its original sound.

The music stops at the end of the video; the export mixes both sounds into the MP4 file.

Examples

Subtle background music

A 1 min 30 s video with a voice, and a 3-minute track: leave the video at 100% and the music at 25%, with a 3 s fade out. Only the first 90 seconds of the music are used.

Replacing the original sound

A 40 s video filmed in the wind: tick “Mute” on the video and add your music with a 2 s fade in. The exported file contains only the music.

Frequently asked questions

Which audio formats are accepted?
MP3, WAV and M4A (AAC), up to 500 MB. The sound is exported as stereo AAC at 48 kHz, 192 kbit/s.
Can I add several tracks one after another?
Yes: add them to the audio track, one after the other. They cannot overlap; a fade out on the first and a fade in on the second smooth the transition.
Is the music cut at the end of the video?
Yes: the final video’s duration is that of the main track. Add a fade out to the music, or shorten it so that it ends at the same time.
Are my videos uploaded to a server?
No. Files are read, edited and encoded in your browser, on your device. No video, image or music is uploaded: you can even disconnect once the page has loaded. Closing the tab erases the project.
